One of our dear babysitters, Hanna, told me a couple of weeks ago that she had uploaded some photos of the kids to the laptop....I just finally went and looked at them.
I love that she was able to catch such looks of the kids.
Cuteness and sillyness all around.

It seems it's been almost an entire year since I last blogged. The day to day life seemed to take over and the extra time of blogging was put aside...not that there was a lot of blogging in the year prior to that either.
The end of 2014 brought us another precious gift...a little girl. Making that a total of 5 little ones here for the Neatons.
Introducing...

Back in July of last year, we headed to Crosslake for a weekend. We went to celebrate Joe's brother Chris' wedding. We spent the weekend with wedding activities, camping activities, swimming and other fun family stuff.

Just when Joe and I start talking about stepping back and doing less....opportunities arise that draw us in the exact opposite direction.
We are trusting the Lord that He know what we can handle and that His hand's are on all the activity around here.

I'm so far behind on the updates. Little Arthur isn't so little anymore. He's 9 months old and walking and I'm pretty sure the last update on him is his birth story. Soon, hopefully soon I can get caught up.
Back in September, we went camping for the weekend with Dan (Joe's brother), Susan and their family. We went to a campground near Caledonia, MN that they have enjoyed for years. Not even sure where to start...months behind on updating and I'm pretty sure there is no way I can remember what we did even last week.
A few low-lights and high-lights from the last week or so...

The dill is monsterous...I must have planted a different variety than I usually do.
The tomatoes have grown like crazy the last couple of weeks and I spied a couple of little ones growing yesterday.
About half of the beets have been picked and canned...8 pints worth.
The kids usually eat a couple of carrots a piece each day.

*Warning - this is super long*
Arthur is already 2 months old, so I figured I needed to finally get his birth story written out before I completely lost it to the far corner of my brain.
To start with the little guys was 2 weeks late...yes 2 weeks. All our other three were early or right on time, so waiting was hard. I was tired and cranky and my family handled it really well. Our dear Charlie turned 6 last month...May 24th to be exact. She is such a blessing and has turned into a great little helper around here. She helps put laundry away and unload the dishwasher. She is quick to hold Arthur and loves to play with her siblings...most of the time.
We celebrated her birthday with a few friends, supper and cake. And yes our 6 year old only had 5 candles on Hollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08096425252006170847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-823614543796931332.post-63443825830897128212013-05-28T06:01:00.001-05:002013-05-28T06:01:15.348-05:00Joseph - 2 1/2 Years Old
Our Joseph is 2 1/2 years old.
Two year olds are a load of fun and lot of frustration all at the same time.
The things he comes up with are just down right funny some times.

Baby boy is about 6 weeks old already.
Not sure how that has happened. I was just telling Joe yesterday - that it seems like he has always been here and at the same time like I just had him yesterday. Part of it is the busyness we are in the middle of right now and part because he seem so much older to me than 6 weeks old.

Baby boy is already 3 weeks old...thinking it was time for some photos and an update.
Arthur Cody was born April 17th, 2013 at 10:05 am. He weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz and was 22 inches long.
He is the largest baby we have had...could be because he was born 2 weeks after my 'due date'.

Hello Monday!
These little ones make my heart sing!
Yes - I'm still pregnant. No - I won't be forever.
The kids were able to spend Saturday night and part of Sunday with grandma Lu and papa Joe. They had a blast...got to go out for supper, out for breakfast and got to spend the night at uncle Gene's cabin.
I was able to get carpet shampooed and a couple of closets cleanedHollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08096425252006170847noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-823614543796931332.post-3774400928441644272013-04-04T16:45:00.002-05:002013-04-04T16:45:46.926-05:00What to do on your due date.....
.....plant the greenhouse of course!
My 'due date' was yesterday and I spent the day working, helping plant the greenhouse and answering numerous texts like - "baby yet??".
Soon...it will be soon.
God bless!

39 weeks pregnant and I've fielded calls from my mom, my mother-in-law and my dad and a few texts from friends in the past few days wondering if baby has arrived yet. I guess everyone else is as excited as we are to meet the little one.
I'm feeling good. Baby has dropped a little. I'm having random contractions, too. I would say we are getting closer. I had a midwife appointment Hollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08096425252006170847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-823614543796931332.post-50486498265387954892013-03-12T21:59:00.000-05:002013-03-12T21:59:30.502-05:00Set Apart Conference
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Set Apart Conference with my dear friend, Alice.
It was two days of great fellowship with old friends and new friends and lots of wonderful preaching and teaching...both encouraging and convicting.
I managed to make it through the weekend feeling good...and only a couple of contractions.

Not a very good photo, but as you can tell baby is growing.
I'm about 37 weeks now and measuring about 2 weeks ahead. Which means nothing...at my appointment before then I was measuring a week behind. Baby is head down, but still very high.
I'm feeling well though and looking forward to meeting this little one.

Prep work is under way in the greenhouse for the upcoming growing season.
I'm getting excited to get some things in the ground...yet it seems a little wrong since there is still so much snow on the ground outside.
The kids did some rock picking...and were pretty proud of themselves.
Temperatures vary widely. If the sun is shining, it warms up in there quickly.

I had a good looking bunch of helpers yesterday...
Charlie loaded the entire dishwasher by herself and did a wonderful job.
She was able to cram just about as many dishes in there as her mama.
Joseph and Cori worked together on getting the entire main floor vacuumed.
I love my Oreck...it's light weight enough that all the kids can push it around.

Unglued Devotional by Lysa Terkeurst was an enjoyable and easy read. Each day begins with a verse and a thought for the day, then followed by a short couple of pages of a related personal story from the author.
The stories were easy to relate to and great reminders that all mothers have 'those days'. One of my favorite days was Day 11 and I thought the thought for the day was perfect Hollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08096425252006170847noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-823614543796931332.post-36191698416610629372013-03-02T21:10:00.004-06:002013-03-02T21:10:52.559-06:00Saturday Snapshots
Daddy came home with a load of hay today.
After lunch, his little helpers headed outside with him to help unload.
Charlie did a great job of rolling straps up tight.
Joseph hauled and put away straps.
(...and yes, he does have pink boots on...)
They all found some mud.

A few quick updates...
1. My not-so-little boy has been sleeping in a big boy bed since Wednesday night and is loving it! Now, if only I could get all three of them to actually sleep through the night.
2. Same little boy is also sort of potty training. If I let him be completely naked all day long, he would never have an accident.
