She had been clapping the entire morning and it still took me 30+ minutes to get this little bit of video.
She still has just her 2 bottom teeth and is loving eating any and everything you put in front of her. For breakfast this morning, she polished off an entire waffle and half a cup of fruit.
All the food really hasn't put a dent in the nursing department, but she will go a lot longer between feedings now. Which is nice for a sitter or at night. She does however make up for it at night if she misses out during the day because of a sitter or something.
Cori loves to put everything in her mouth.....paper especially. She loves to be outside.....swinging, crawling or just watching Charlie. She loves the cat.
She still rolls around a lot to get where she wants to go, but has started to crawl some.
We began Easter day by attending the sunrise service at church. The girls actually sat through the entire service. We were back home fairly early and just hung outside with the girls.....playing, lounging, and swinging.....before heading to Joe's parents for lunch.

To say it has been busy and will continue that way would be an understatement.....hence my normal Multitude Monday post on Tuesday night. We had a busy, fun, enjoyable Easter weekend. I have about 200 photos to go through.....they will be here shortly.....hopefully this week.

It is Good Friday and I am at a loss for words. I'm not really sure how to put to paper what I'm feeling, but wanted to share a couple of things.
Isaiah 53:3-10
3 He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. (emphasis added)
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before her shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.

I've been reading The Passion of Jesus Christ (Fifty Reasons Why He Came to Die) by John Piper. It is a wonderful book. John Piper says.....Why did Christ suffer and die? Not why in the sense of cause, but why in the sense of purpose. What did Christ achieve by his passion? Why did he have to suffer so much? What great thing was happening on Calvary for the world?.....I have gathered from the New Testament fifty reasons why Christ suffered and died. Not fifty causes, but fifty purposes.
Some of the fifty purposes include.....To absorb the wrath of God.....To show His own love for us.....To deliver us from the present evil age.....So that we would die to the law and bear fruit for God.
First up was chiropractor appointments for both the girls and I. They both do really well and Charlie impresses me everytime. She get right up on the table and listens to directions from doctor Ryan so well.
Then we headed to the clinic for check-ups for both the girls. We are not doctor seeing kind of people. I'm not a worrier and we are relatively healthy people and we don't vaccinate.....so no regular doctor visits.
Charlie had not had a well-child visit since she was 4 months old.....she is 34 months old. And Cori had not been in since she was 1 week old.....she is almost 8 months old. Both are perfectly healthy children and fall in the 25% - 50% range on the charts.....whatever that means.
If that wasn't enough running around for the morning, we then headed to Sam's Club and picked up some parts for Joe (who has been working like a mad-man this week).
Cori only napped in the van today, so she went to bed pretty early, but not before we spent a whole lot of time playing outside. The weather was beautiful! The sun was shinning! We needed no coats, no mittens, no boots! I was barefoot! It was something like 70 degrees today! Love it!
