Joseph - 2 1/2 Years Old

Our Joseph is 2 1/2 years old.
Two year olds are a load of fun and lot of frustration all at the same time.

The things he comes up with are just down right funny some times.

He has taken to adding an --ee sound to the end of a lot of words.
Snack is snackee
Kiss is kissee

Many days, he comes up to me and says - I love you too mom. Then he goes on to tell me that he loves daddy too and Charlie too...and on and on with everyone he can think of.

On the other hand, there are days were he is not so loving or obedient. Last week, I was telling him to stop doing something. He says - close your eyes mom and no see me. It's funny how their little minds work. He really figured if I had my eyes closed he could do what he wanted because I couldn't see him.

And days when he tracked mud in the house - not once but twice.

And in the same day dumped an entire bag of cat food on the garage floor.

We love you Joe-Joe!

God Bless!

Arthur Cody - One Month Old

Baby boy is about 6 weeks old already.

Not sure how that has happened. I was just telling Joe yesterday - that it seems like he has always been here and at the same time like I just had him yesterday. Part of it is the busyness we are in the middle of right now and part because he seem so much older to me than 6 weeks old.

Arthur is growing like a weed. I haven't weighed him in over a week. But last Sunday, he weighed in at 11 lbs 10 oz. Mama's high test milk over here has helped the little guy gain about 3 1/2 lbs in the 5 weeks since he was born. He is by far, the biggest baby we have had around here.

He is sleeping much like the rest of the children we have had. He sleeps about 5 hours when he goes down for bedtime and then is up about every 2 hours after that.

He enjoys being outside and has had numerous Gator rides already. It's a good thing he likes to be in the moby wrap...mama loves the thing too. It is so nice to be about to wear him when I am helping others around here. And it works great to get him to sleep when nothing else is working.

His siblings love him most of the time...sometimes a fine line between wanting to holding him and upset that mama is sitting and nursing him again.

Happy one month baby boy!

God bless!

Introducing Arthur Cody

Baby boy is already 3 weeks old...thinking it was time for some photos and an update.

Arthur Cody was born April 17th, 2013 at 10:05 am. He weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz and was 22 inches long.
He is the largest baby we have had...could be because he was born 2 weeks after my 'due date'.

About 1/2 hour old...cord hadn't even been cut yet.

About an hour old...snuggled up in the sling and getting ready to get weighed.

Proud big sister, Charlie, just can't get enough of him.
That big dent in his forehead got much better overnight. He was kind of cock-eyed in the birth canal while I was in labor and he had his head pressed up to one side of my pelvic bone.

5 days old...chilling out on the top of mom's desk as she was working away on paperwork...there is no maternity leave when you run your own business.

He was born at home...quick delivery after a long labor.

Birth story coming soon...

God bless!
